Outdoor Living for Talbot County Homes

From Easton to St. Michaels, Oxford, and Tilghman, Talbot County homes are built around water views and outdoor living. Outdoor Living Spaces designs and builds custom decks, patios, screened porches, and outdoor kitchens across the county, and our shop in Queenstown is just up Route 50 from Easton.

Building Since 2002We've been designing and building outdoor spaces since 2002, and our Queenstown shop is just up Route 50, close to every corner of Talbot County.
See It in 3D FirstEvery project starts with a custom 3D design, so you can walk through your new deck, patio, or kitchen before a single board is cut or a single paver is laid.

Where We Work

Serving All of Talbot County

From our shop in Queenstown, we work throughout Talbot County, including Easton, St. Michaels, Oxford, Trappe, Tilghman, Royal Oak, and the communities along the Bay Hundred.

Chesapeake Bay Critical Area

Building near the water? Talbot has hundreds of miles of shoreline, and land within 1,000 feet of tidal water falls under Maryland’s Chesapeake Bay Critical Area rules, which limit how much new patio, walkway, and other hard surface can go in. In the towns of Easton, St. Michaels, and Oxford, some permits and historic district reviews go through the town instead of the county. We design around all of it from day one and handle the permitting.

Good questions

Talbot County FAQs

Have a question that is not here? Call us at 443-339-9801 or see our full FAQ.

Do I need a permit for a deck or patio in Talbot County?

Most decks, and many porches, patios, and outdoor kitchens, need a permit. Waterfront lots may also need Critical Area review, and projects in Easton, St. Michaels, or Oxford may go through the town. We handle the paperwork either way.

How close is your shop to Talbot County?

Our shop is in Queenstown, a short drive up Route 50 from Easton, so our crews are close to projects all over the county.

What towns in Talbot County do you serve?

All of them, including Easton, St. Michaels, Oxford, Trappe, Tilghman, Royal Oak, Wittman, Bozman, Cordova, and the communities in between.

How long will my project take?

That depends on the size of the project and how long permits take. You will get a clear schedule with your 3D design and estimate, before any work starts.

How long have you been in business?

Our team has been designing and building outdoor spaces since 2002. Today we focus on design-build projects: decks, patios, porches, and outdoor kitchens, with a shop in Queenstown to serve the Eastern Shore.
