Getting started

How do I get started?

Just fill out our quick contact form and a team member will reach out to schedule a visit, or give us a call at 443-339-9801 to book an appointment. We will come by to see your space and walk you through the next steps.

Do you provide free estimates?

Absolutely. Every project starts with a free, no pressure estimate. We will look at your space, talk through your ideas, and help you understand the possibilities.

What areas do you serve?

We serve Calvert, Anne Arundel, and St. Mary's counties in Southern Maryland, plus Queen Anne's, Talbot, and Caroline counties on the Eastern Shore, with shops in Huntingtown and Queenstown.

Can I see examples of your past work?

Yes. Our online project gallery shows some of our favorite builds, with photos and details about the materials we used.

Design & process

What does the design and build process look like?

We start by sending a project consultant to your home to take measurements, assess the site, and understand your vision. Then we create a custom 3D design and meet with you online or in person to review it. Once approved, we finalize the proposal, order materials, and begin construction.

Are your designs custom or templated?

All of our designs are fully custom. We create detailed 3D renderings so you can see your new outdoor space before we ever break ground.

Can you match the design to the style of my home?

Absolutely. Every project is designed to blend with your home's architecture and surroundings, so your new space looks like it was always meant to be there.

How long does a typical project take?

It depends on the size and scope. Smaller jobs may take a couple of weeks, while larger custom builds can take a month or two. We give you a realistic timeline during the estimate.

Permits, materials & cost

Do I need to worry about permits?

Not at all. Our dedicated permit team handles permitting with the county, from the paperwork to final inspection.

What materials do you use?

For patios and retaining walls we primarily use Belgard products. For composite decking we work with trusted names like Trex, TimberTech, and Fiberon.

Do you offer financing?

Yes. We offer flexible financing, including personal loans through our partner Lyon Financial. Ask about current plans during your consultation.

What types of outdoor living spaces do you build?

Custom decks, porches, patios, fire pits, retaining walls, outdoor kitchens, pools, walkways, fences, landscape lighting, and landscaping. If it belongs in your backyard, we can build it.

Lawn Artists transformed my lawn with a 4 1/2 month project that addressed dire drainage issues on the property. They are professional, personable, knowledgeable and reasonably priced. At the end of the project they had replaced three retaining walls with ones that work and are beautiful as well. Also they built a paver walkway around the house to again, focus on the erosion issues. Pavers were used on our driveway and beautiful patio. Lawn Artists everything I could want in my lawn and Hardscape Adventures. I just happened to get their phone number off of one of their vehicles and set up a free consultation with them. They came took measurements photos and aerial drone photos. Then through video conferencing we worked all the details and my concerns out on an interactive 3D model scale. It was like I was right there doing the design. The crew was fast, efficient, and very knowledgeable about what they were doing. Many compliments from Neighbors around the block. Also they came in lower on price by the time we were done then you're bigger companies that I have visited.
