How it came together

This full backyard upgrade combines hardscape and landscape work to create connected outdoor spaces for gathering, movement, and low-maintenance curb appeal. The design features multiple paver areas with contrasting soldier-course borders, a dedicated circular fire pit zone, step systems and walkways, and a combination of retaining and sitting walls finished with stone veneer and caps.

Decorative river rock was installed beneath the deck and throughout planting beds for clean drainage and visual contrast. Curbstone edging defines garden areas, while a full plant installation softens the hardscape with natural greenery. Low-voltage landscape lighting completes the project, adding safety and ambiance for evening use.

Lawn Artists transformed my lawn with a 4 1/2 month project that addressed dire drainage issues on the property. They are professional, personable, knowledgeable and reasonably priced. At the end of the project they had replaced three retaining walls with ones that work and are beautiful as well. Also they built a paver walkway around the house to again, focus on the erosion issues. Pavers were used on our driveway and beautiful patio. Lawn Artists everything I could want in my lawn and Hardscape Adventures. I just happened to get their phone number off of one of their vehicles and set up a free consultation with them. They came took measurements photos and aerial drone photos. Then through video conferencing we worked all the details and my concerns out on an interactive 3D model scale. It was like I was right there doing the design. The crew was fast, efficient, and very knowledgeable about what they were doing. Many compliments from Neighbors around the block. Also they came in lower on price by the time we were done then you're bigger companies that I have visited.
